Biography

Eddie Daniels currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for the Business Services Division of Business Affairs, transitioning from his role as Executive Director of the J. Wayne Reitz Union at the University of Florida in the Summer of 2017.  Daniels began his career in local government, serving in various professional roles in the Office of Youth Development, City of Indianapolis, and as Government Management Specialist at the Northeast Georgia Area Planning and Development Commission, Athens, GA. Subsequently, Daniels made a career shift to higher education, beginning at the University of Georgia, later served as Associate Director for Programs at the Russell House University Union at the University of South Carolina for four years, and student union director at South Carolina for the next five years. Daniels served as Director of the union and student activities at the University of Virginia for five years, at the University of Connecticut for five years, and has served as the Executive Director of the student union at the University of Florida since 2005. Daniels has held a variety of leadership positions in the Association of College Unions International.

Daniels holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Zoology from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN, and a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) Degree from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs, Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).

Reginald Lane serves as the Associate Director for Sorority & Fraternity Affairs in Student Activities & Involvement.  He completed his Bachelor of Science in Public Health at Western Kentucky University and Master of Science  in Counselor Education from Mississippi State University. 

Solange Douglas serves as a the Assistant Director for Programs in the J. Wayne Reitz Union.  She completed both her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and her Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Florida International University in Miami, FL.

Marlene Jones serves as a Financial Aid Counselor in the Financial Aird Office at the University of Florida.  She completed her Degrees in Bible & Theology, Women's Studies, & Christian Educational Ministries from Nazarene Bible College.

Trenatee Coleman currently serves as the Training and Development Coordinator for the Reitz Union.  Originally from Kentucky, she completed both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Western Kentucky University.
